On March 17th, Mercer Street was abuzz with film crews and production staff for the CW’s TV series, “Walker”, which is a reimagining of the longrunning series "Walker, Texas Ranger". "Walker", starring Jared Padalecki, follows the adventures of Cordell Walker, a widower and father of two with his own moral code, as he returns home to Austin after being undercover for two years. The film company, Eye Productions, filmed in historic downtown Dripping Springs including Hudson’s on Mercer and Rippy Ranch Supply.
Discussions over the Town Center Project have heated up after the termination of the Interlocal Agreement (ILA) between the City of Dripping Springs, the Dripping Springs Community Library District, Hays County and Dripping Springs Independent School District. On March 9, the Dripping Springs City Council voted to send notice of termination of the May 2020 ILA. The School District, on March 29, similarly voted to terminate the ILA.

Dripping Springs residents in Harmon Hills and at Treaty Oak Distillery got special deliveries on Saturday of hundreds of eggs dropped from the sky courtesy of D-Tour Aviation.
Commander Ben Adair of the Vince F. Taylor American Legion Post 290 of Dripping Springs and the members of Post 290 made a $10,000.00 donation to Patriots Hall of Dripping Springs. This donation is a "Founding Sponsor'' donation for the new upcoming Hall. Patriots Hall will be a multi use facility with a meeting hall for the American Legion and the VFW, a large Conference size building, and possible other buildings at a later date. Article submitted
