Dripping Springs residents celebrate Easter
Have you ever wondered how the Easter Bunny makes it to all of the houses to deliver baskets of goodies? Helicopter of course! Dripping Springs residents in Harmon Hills and at Treaty Oak Distillery got special deliveries on Saturday of hundreds of eggs dropped from the sky courtesy of D-Tour Aviation.
“I always enjoy doing this for the kids,” Chad Varnell, owner of D-Tour Aviation, said. “It’s just a fun thing to do and especially right now when people are getting back out and celebrating together, I wanted to send out some extra happiness.”
Amanda Anderson hosted the celebration in Harmon Hills and said, “We had the most amazing day! We invited the entire neighborhood, watched the kids run to the egg drop zone and just the whole thing was so amazing. My vision of the biggest, most amazing Easter event came to life.”
Around town, celebrations abounded with some celebrating their very first Easter. Others hunted eggs inside as spring showers passed through. You can view a photo gallery on our website at drippingspringsnews.com.
