At the April 26 meeting, the Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees approved two new elementary principals: Jamie Eubanks as the principal of Dripping Springs Elementary and Kirsten Bloomfield as principal of Sycamore Springs Elementary.
The Texas Department of State Health Services has notified vaccine providers in the state that they should resume using the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. The announcement comes after a thorough safety review and a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advisory committee’s determination that the vaccine's benefits outweigh its risks.

During the April regular meeting of the Dripping Springs Board of Trustees, parents, students and stakeholders spoke out during the public forum mostly against the district’s current masking policy and COVID-19 protocols. However, board members, following standard procedure, did not comment on the topic during the meeting, because there was no item on the agenda to address it.
