This past week has been a bit wild for runners. First there was the time change, which most morning runners dislike. About the time they start to see some light outside to run in the time change puts us back in the dark. Evening runners, however, like the extra daylight that comes with the time change.

As of March 22, the cumulative count of patients testing positive in Texas increased to 334. The death count stood at five with 8,756 people having been tested, according to figures posted by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
My suet feeder on the back deck recently attracted two golden-fronted woodpeckers, a male and a female. They took turns hanging on the suet block and attacking it with their long sturdy bills.
