Dripping Springs High School jumped into the frying pan on their first cross country meet of the year when they entered the prestigious Westlake Invitational. There were around 25 schools represented in each division. The more experienced girls showed it as they placed third in the varsity division and the JV team placed second. Both boys teams placed eleventh.
The defending State 6A champions are right in step with the drummer as the Dripping Springs High School volleyball team continues to mow down the opposition, getting ready to take on the powerful competition in District 26-6A.
Last year, the Dripping Springs High School volleyball team put together a 7-0 run in the playoffs to become the 2022 State 6A Champs. It seems they liked the streak so well, they decided to extend it into the 2023 season.
The Dripping Springs Tigers are in the middle of practice for the upcoming football season.
