Lady Tigers softball nears halfway point of season

It is amazing how fast the sports seasons seem to zoom by. The Lady Tigers softball team has seven district games left before starting the playoffs. They have a 5-0 record in district play. Their last two was a 4-0 shutout against Lake Travis and then 8-1 over Del Valle before spring break. They played Fredericksburg during spring break to keep sharp. However, the game apparently took spring break off as well. It took on the character of a slowpitch game rather than a good fastpitch. The final was 20-14 with 13 errors being committed and three homeruns by each.
