It continues to be one of those years where the weather dominates the schedule. The seven day cycles of rain just will not get off game nights. The Tuesday night league batted .500 this past week as the Monday night slate of games were washed away but the fields rebounded enough to play the Tuesday schedule. Thursday league also got in their games.

Tuesday league standings: Sunset Canyon Baptist 5-0; Fighting Pharmers 4-1; DS Rentals Conglomerates 3-2; DS Electric Shockers 3-2; Baptist Bombers 1-1; Misfits 1-4; Chronic Offenders 1-4; UnWanted 0-2; Slapnut Magoos 0-2.

Scores: Sunset Canyon Baptist remained undefeated in league play with two wins. They held off Chronic Offenders 15-8 and overran Misfits 19-1. The Conglomerates broke a 7-7 tie in the extra inning with two to defeat the Fighting Pharmers. The Pharmers then broke a 4-4 tie with four runs in their final at bat to overcome the Shockers 8-5. The Shockers did not wait for an overtime game as they shutdown and shutout the Conglomerates 11-0.

SOP did not have the same problem in the second game as they blasted Lastros 18-4. The Zeros were able to have more offense in their second game to outlast Dripping Royalty 11-7. Dripping Royalty kept Lastros at bay 9-2.
