Volleyball continues playoff run

The Lady Tigers volleyball team is well on the road to duplicating their state run of last year. After finishing up with a second place finish in district, they went down to Bryan and took on A&M Consolidated in a practice round. They opened Bi-district with a very close 3-2 victory to get by a really tough opponent in Cedar Park. The Tigers then proceeded to sweep San Antonio Burbank in 3-0 victory in the Area Round. Now they will have to go back through district opponents, both of which defeated the Lady Tigers in district. Last Tuesday they played Alamo Heights, and up next the team will face New Braunfels Canyon. They have increased their season record to 35-15.
