Tigers District 13-5A Wrestling Champs
Covid-19 played havoc with a few teams competing in the District 13-5A tournament but the Dripping Springs entrants were on top of their game and placed in all weight divisions to dominate the district and win going away. In the girls division DS had only two able to perform but still placed fourth in district. It most certainly would have been higher had top wrestler, Catalina Miller, been able to participate. An injury kept her out.
The regional qualifiers competed and the results were very similar to district with the Tigers doubling their competition and sending nine representatives to state. However, Region IV found the going very tough at state as no team finished in the top ten. Had a couple of individuals that placed second. The best finish for the Tigers was a fifth place for Christian Prehar.
