They won a close match with Fredericksburg.

Even though one might not think of tennis as a contact sport, it still has its injuries. Dripping Springs High School tennis coach Jackson attributes their slow start against some pretty good competition to injuries. He says when they get healthy they will be able to give some of the toughest competition in the Area all they can handle and should have a chance to get that state berth.

They opened with a couple of losses to Boerne Champion and Kerrville before having a much easier time with Wimberley. They won a close match with Fredericksburg. The object in team tennis is to get to ten points before the opponent with each of the possible 19 matches worth a point each.
