Soccer teams moving on

The Dripping Springs soccer fans got to see both their teams in action at the same time. Under UIL rules the district champs get to play the bi-district games at their home field. With both being district champs they got to host the fourth place teams from District 25-5A. This meant the Lady Tigers were matched with Rouse and moved on with a 4-1 victory. The Tigers played Glenn and blew them away 8-0. Unfortunately by press time, there were no stats from our teams to report.

That means the two teams move on to Area round of play. The Tigers know they will be playing Medina Valley. The Lady Tigers opponent will be SA Edison. These games were played last Monday or Tuesday. They are expected to move on and probably Friday the Tigers will play District 25-5A champion Rouse who is playing SA Edison. It is highly probable the Lady Tigers will also be playing the District 25-5A champion Cedar Park. Those games should be wellplayed matches.
