Lady Tigers Softball wins District

The Lady Tigers softball team finished up the district race with three wins and the district title. Now it is on to the playoffs where their bi-district opponent will be Leander Glenn, a team they lost to 11-8 earlier in the year. It will be a best of three series. The first game will be there on Thursday night. Action will continue at DS on Friday night at 7:00. If needed there will be a 1:00 game at Leander on Saturday.

In their final three games DS rapped out 19 hits enroute to an 11-2 win over Lehman. Thanks to a multitude of walks they were given nine runs to start the game and finished in four 16-1. Kerrville Tivy put up a better fight as they fell to the Lady Tigers 4-1. DS ended the regular season 20-7-1.
