Lady Tigers softball hits rough spot

It was a good thing the Lady Tigers had district play to fall back on. They would dispose of Boerne Champion 11-1 and finished the week with a victory over Alamo Heights. But the trip to take part in the Leander tourney was a washout, going 0-4-1. Leander Glenn outlasted the Lady Tigers 11-8, followed by a 5-3 loss to Lake Belton. Lake Travis and DS battled to a 2-2 tie. Cibolo Steele blanked DS 4-0 and Cedar Park came back with five runs in the final two innings to nail down a 6-4 victory.
