Lady Tigers respond in tough tournament
Dripping Springs faced another batch of top-notch teams around the state when they entered the New Braunfels Fraulein Volleyfest tourney. They got to play teams from Houston, San Antonio, El Paso and Central Texas. After two days they had carved out a 5-1 record and pitted against district nemesis, NB Canyon to start the final day. They slipped by Canyon but could not get past Lake Travis and SA Clark. A trip over to Hays Johnson opened district play for the Lady Tigers. They shut out the Lady Jaguars.
The 14-9 Lady Tigers will be adding to their win column as they competed in the Rouse Volleypalooza tourney this past weekend. The 16th ranked Lady Tigers visited NB Canyon last Tuesday for the big district showdown.
