Lady Tigers dominate All-District softball selections
All of the playoff teams of District 26-5A have been eliminated and that makes it possible to publish the coaches selections for the All-District teams. The champion Dripping Springs Lady Tigers, 21-9-1, dominated the selections. There were nine teams in the district which means about ninety starters to pick from. Twenty-six were chosen for the first team, 18 second team and 27 honorable mention.
Special Awards:
MVP: Jordan Cox, Soph P: She earned this award from the mound and batters box. As a pitcher she tossed 129.2 innings, gave up 98H, 28W, 190K, 6HP, 56RA, 33ER, 1.79ERA, 17-4 record, 4SO. As a batter she had 46H, 9D, 2T, 2HR, 47RBI, .489BA.
