Lady Tiger volleyball finishes season

Wow! What a regional journey for the Dripping Springs Lady Tigers volleyball team. Playing with a target on their back, they fought long and hard before finally succumbing to Alamo Heights in the finals. They had plans to return to the state tourney but it was not to be. DS gave up their first game loss in a long time as they downed Boerne Champion 3-1. Then they were taken to the very brink of defeat when they confronted Gregory-Portland, a team they had lost to earlier in the year. DS dropped the first two games and for most, defeat is inevitable because you have to win the next three. The Lady Tigers clawed their way back to win the match 3-2. Hard to tell how much that expended energy affected the next game because certainly Alamo Heights has a good team in their own right. The Lady Tigers finished their season with a 43-11 record.
