Dripping Springs soccer teams clinch title
Both of the Dripping Springs varsity soccer teams claimed their district titles and still had three games to play. They would then take another win at the expense of Lehman. Both teams have earned top five rankings in the state and hope to finish up what they did not get to attempt last year due to the pandemic. For sure, the Tigers will play Leander Rouse in the bi-district round next week and most likely the Lady Tigers will meet the same opponent.
To the present, the Tigers have an 18-0-3, 14-0 record and the Lady Tigers 18-1-1, 13-0-1. Since last report the boys took wins over Alamo Heights (2-0), Veterans Memorial (8-1) and Lehman (3-0). The girls have earned wins over Alamo Heights (1-0), Hays Johnson (3-0), Veterans Memorial (3-0) and Lehman (7-0).
