Cross country team competes in tall cotton
The Dripping Springs cross country teams found themselves competing in very tall cotton when they entered the Round Rock McNeil Invitational held at the Old Settler's Park course. No doubt it was the top talent pool the Tigers have been involved in this year. Hundreds of teams and runners were in the divisions. The course is the site of the state meet where the Tigers expect to return to in a few weeks. The two varsities competed in the Gold Division where all the top schools were entered. The boys JV1 squad competed in the Class 5A varsity division, while the rest of the boys JV and girls JV teams competed in the JV division.
