Chase Warden undefeated in wrestling

The Dripping Springs wrestling teams continue to enter very tough tourneys and matchups with some of the better programs in the state. So far they have not lost to a 5A team in the tourneys or duals. They have two boys that are ranked number one in Class 5A. Chase Warden is undefeated (11-0) in the 145-pound division. Clayton Jetton has a 27-3 record in 195 division. Tony Quevedo has a 27-8 record. Micah Ribera is wrestling very well but has drawn some very good 6A opponents. Colby Collins is also doing well in 220 class. Every weight division holding their own.

Likewise, the girls are competing well. Lauryn Hammond placed third in the Hill Country Invite. Catalina Miller placed first in the AISD Girls Invite and fourth in Russ Pederson. Alyson Brownson-Welch was third in AISD Invite and second in the Hill Country Invite.

Final results on two of the tourneys the boys have played in. They placed ninth in the Allen Texas Outlaws Invitational among the 24 teams. They were third among the 18 teams that competed at the Hill Country Invitational. The Lady Tigers placed seventh at the Hill Country Invite with 33 points.
