Basketball win in close battle with Austin Maroons

The Tigers rebounded from their loss to Hays quite nicely as they were involved in another close battle. This time with the Austin Maroons. The 52-49 victory left the Tigers with a 3-1 record to be thankful for.
As has been the case so far, the Tigers have had to earn a hard-fought win. They had to overcome a halftime deficit with a strong second half. Austin opened with a 14-13 edge after one and then extended it to a 26-22 advantage at half. The Tigers gained three with a 16-13 splurge in the third and finished off in the fourth.
