All-Centex selections

Softball: Recently, the Austin American-Statesman published their 2021 All-Centex selections for the girls softball teams. Again, these teams are composed of members from all classifications in the area, making any selection very remarkable. Representing the Lady Tigers was Sophomore, Jordan Cox. The Lady Tiger pitcherinfielder was named to the second team.

Baseball: The Tigers baseball team was well represented in All-Centex selections. The DS team finished the season 29-13- 1 and ranked 10th in 5A while reaching the Regional finals. The top name was Cameron O'Banan. He was named the American-Statesman's Player of the Year on the basis of a 7-1 pitching record, including a .75 ERA, a .337 average with 12 doubles, four triples and 25 runs. He was named to the first team as an outfielder but earned firstteam status on the 5A allstate team as a pitcher. Also earning second-team status was catcher Reece Dunn and outfielder Max Miles.
