Wesley Monroe Blanton

Wesley Monroe Blanton, 57, passed away July 20, 2020, at 8:51 PM, in Dripping Springs, Texas. Wesley was born in Houston, Texas, August 11, 1962, to Lynette B. Blanton Helton and Samuel L. Blanton.

Wesley graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1980 and completed his college Liberal Studies degree at St. Edwards University, Austin, Texas, in 2008. He was a producer/ director in various television stations and throughout Texas and Montana as well as in the Communication Department at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He worked as a contractor for two years in Iraq and then finished his career in sales.

He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel L. Blanton; grandfather, Clem K. Best, grandmother, Clarafrank Best. He is survived by his mother, Lynn B. Helton, brother, Paul. K Blanton, and cousin, Bryan K. Best.

Family will welcome guests for visitation 6:00pm-8:00pm, Friday, July 31, 2020 at Harrell Funeral Home of Dripping Springs. Graveside Services will be held 10:00am, Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Phillips Cemetery in Dripping Springs.
