David Davis

David Davis, age 71, passed away on June 8 from a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, 5 children, and 6 grandchildren. They are wife Doris of Dripping Springs; son Tony, Julie, Cason, and Kimbree Davis of Tyler, Texas; daughter Jennifer, Jerry, Rylee, and Breck Dawkins of Jenks,

Oklahoma; daughter Jamie, Chris, and Evan Miller of Jenks, Oklahoma; daughter Angela Davis of Arlington, Texas; and daughter Amy, Kris, and Kaden Tyrpak of Dripping Springs. He is also survived by a brother, Cary and Annette Davis of Lubbock, and sister Sandra and Johnny Lasiter of Odessa, Texas.

Born October 7, 1949 in Lubbock, Texas, to Calvin and Louise Davis, who preceded him in death. David spent his working years in the Automotive service industry. He was an avid sportsman and particularly enjoyed offshore fishing. His last wishes were that he be cremated and his ashes spread into the Gulf of Mexico that he so enjoyed.
