DSHS Students on Commended Scholar List in National Merit Program
Eleven Dripping Springs High School seniors have been recognized as Commended Scholars in the 66th annual National Merit program. To be chosen as a Commended Scholar, students must have placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students nationally who took the PSAT/NMSQT. Approximately 34,000 Commended Scholars are being recognized nationwide.
The 11 Commended students from Dripping Springs High School are: Makayla Banton, Dylan Bao, Johnathan Bartling, Jasmine Bissett, Jacke Fields, Mallory Junker, Jackson Kaiser, Kaylee Longo, Jadon Putman, Isabella Sites, and Drew Wilson.
Previously it was announced that DSHS senior Mitchell Bockelman is a National Merit Semifinalist.
