PAWS in critical need of donations and supplies
PAWS Shelter of Central Texas is in critical need of monetary donations and supplies during the coronavirus quarantine.
“We’re trying to stay staffed and supplied during this difficult time,” PAWS Executive Director Melody Hilburn said. “While keeping within the COVID-19 restrictions, we’re in need of donations to keep our staff up. We’re also in desperate need of supplies, specifically Purina One Dog Food, Purina One Cat Food, Bleach, kitty litter, cleaning supplies in general, and of course the holy grails right now-- paper towels and toilet paper.”
PAWS is also building a list of potential fosters in case they need to shut down their facilities during the COVID-19 quarantine. “We’re building a list of foster homes. People who are willing to foster a cat or a dog in case we have to shut down. We also have pending deliveries of both kittens and puppies, which will require special care,” Hilburn said. “It’s a perfect time to foster if you think about it. People are at home with their families right now, or alone, and could use a companion to stay with them.”
