Dripping with Taste returns to Ranch Park this weekend

FESTIVAL WEEKEND

The 11th Annual Dripping with Taste Wine & Food Festival will take place this Saturday September 8, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center, 1042 Event Center Drive.

The festival is described as the “largest assortment of Texas wines, craft beers, gourmet foods and spirits available under one roof.” This year’s event includes over 75 “tasteful” vendors and an estimated 2,500 food and wine enthusiasts.

“In between noshing and sipping, you can listen and dance to live music, check out the mobile cigar lounge, catch some football on widescreen TV, stomp some grapes and even do some shopping. Jewelers, craftsmen, and specialty food vendors, among others, will be showing their wares,” The Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau said.

Tickets can be purchased online at destinationdrippingsprings.com .

Adult advance tickets are $40 online, and tickets at the door will be $50 the day of the event. Adult admission includes entry into the festival, all demos, music, photo booth, marketplace, door prize entry, and games. Adult admission also includes souvenir glass, 10 food-tasting tickets and 6 drink tasting tickets.

Tickets for attendees under age 21 tickets are $30. They include entry into festival, music, photo booth, marketplace, door prize entry, games and 5 food-tasting tickets.

A $3.50 service fee is applied to each on-line ticket purchase.

Sponsored by the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau, the festival was created to showcase the growing number of local vineyards, breweries, distilleries, and food fares from the area. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Dripping Springs Visitors Bureau, a 501(c)3 charitable organization that promotes area tourism and business.
