The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Hays County.
The mantra last spring was “14 days to flatten the curve.” Nearly a year later, some parents in the Dripping Springs Independent School District (DSISD) have grown weary about the district’s COVID-19 and quarantine protocols. However, representatives from the district said they are following recommendations from the county.
Dripping Springs residents can stop dreaming about the multi-use entertainment center that’s been in the works since last summer because Dreamland is officially open! And they did it up big with three days of festivities to kick off their soft opening last weekend, including live bands, a Pickleball tournament, Super Bowl watch party, and special kids’ activities like face painting, balloon art and a petting zoo.
Hays County residents will now be able to preregister for the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine through a newly announced registry. Residents can sign up to be placed on Hays County's new waitlist at www.haysinformed.com/ covid-19, rather than sign up for specific time slots.
