Former New Braunfels City Council member George Green is running once more for elected office, hoping to fill the empty spot in Texas House District 73.
There was certainly no expectation of being able to announce the all-district selections at this time of the year. The standard rule is these teams cannot be published until all representatives of the district have been eliminated from the playoffs. Well lo and behold, the unthinkable occurred. Not only did the Dripping Springs Tigers, sporting an undefeated record, go down in the first round but so did the other three teams from the district. So here we are announcing the results as selected by the district coaches.
The city of Dripping Springs has extended its Temporary Development Moratorium for 90 days, affecting permits for new development in the city and its extraterritorial jurisdiction.
