Nine employees at a Bastrop County facility that cares for young victims of sex trafficking have been accused of trafficking those same girls, according to the Austin American-Statesman.
Dripping Springs attorney, Carly Barton, has been elected as the Hays County Bar Association’s president for 2022.
A couple of years ago, a calf was found wandering the Hill Country Ranches community with his mother and a number of other cows, just southwest of the Dripping Springs area. Neighbors corralled the small herd and worked with authorities to locate their owners, but when no one came forward for the calf, Ed and Laura Hoppe gave him a home. He was named “Christmas” — after his presumed birthdate.
Dripping Springs Independent School District will be represented by six middle school students at the Texas History Day Contest after they placed in the top two of their respective events at the regional competition.
