Swim teams contends for title

The swimming season has sneaked up on me and therefore am a few meets behind but will catch up. They are coming off a state championship year and look like they are capable of contending for that title again. They opened with a triangular meet with Lake Travis and Hays, one that 6A Lake Travis dominated. Next it was on to Belton where the boys were first and the girls second. Finally they competed in the Burnet HootnHoller meet. It is usually a fun meet and mostly small schools, so DS outclassed the competition and scored more points than the rest combined.
