Summer at the Family Circus

Despite 100 degree temperatures, the inaugural Family Circus kicked off last Saturday at the Bell Springs Winery and their next-door neighbor venue, the Lucky Arrow Retreat.

Armadillo races and a petting zoo, trick roper Kevin Fitzpatrick, a water slide and lawn games were all part of the fun on July 1. As kids tasted freeze-dried ice cream sandwiches and other treats, parents and other participants shopped vendors. Attendees sampled cigars from Smokey’s Cigar Lounge, libations from Bell Springs Winery and Brewery, tequila from Desert Door and spirits from Waterloo and Treaty Oak distilleries. Visitors chilled to the tunes provided by Jamie Weston, Red Williams, DJ Javila, Robert Wagner and Rising Sons.
