Sheriff's looking for unknown man who robbed gas station

A robbery took place at the Circle K gas station in Dripping Springs earlier this week, just off of U.S. Highway 290.

On March 6 at approximately 10:49 a.m., the suspect (pictured to the right) arrived at 104 U.S. 290, approached the clerk and demanded money. The suspect approached and fled the scene in a white fourdoor Volkswagen Jetta; the model year presumed to be between 2014 and 2020, according to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office. The Jetta has damage to the front passenger side door panel.

The investigation re mains ongoing. No further information is available at this point, but more information will be released as it becomes available.

The Sheriff’s Office said they believe there is no danger to the public. There was no mention of a threat or weapons.
