Senior living facility headed for the stage

Ledgestone Senior Living is flexing its creative muscles with a new drama club for its residents.

Ledgestone is an independent, assisted and memory care community in the Dripping Springs area. Its newest club includes 10 participants, both actors and directors, all of which are residents. Their first production, a one-act play called “Revenge of the Red Feather Ladies,” will be performed on Friday, April 1.

“They have been so hardworking,” said Laura Sullivan, director of Ledgestone’s independent living activities. “We have costume prep and rehearsals once a week. Every Monday, the actors also rehearse their lines.”

The club plans to keep practicing and performing after this play is done, according to Sullivan.

Ledgestone Senior Living is located at 13150 Four Star Blvd., Austin, Texas 78737. More about the community can be found at bit.ly/3sgw8nA.
