Regional animal shelter offering discounted pet adoptions

The regional animal shelter in San Marcos is running an adoption special through the end of May. The shelter is full and they're looking for fosters and adopters to help reduce the number of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens (it’s kitten season!).
All adoption-ready animals are only $21 through the end of the month. This special includes spay/neuter, vaccinations and medications, a microchip, vet exam, and 30 days of free pet health insurance. Shelter is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from noon to 7 p.m. or Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. (closed Wednesday and Sunday).
