Prosperity Bank donated $500 to the School’s Out, Food’s In summer food assistance program last week.

“We have a budget line at all of our bank branches that is dedicated to supporting and giving back to the community,” Karlon Cox, Banking Center President at DS Prosperity Bank, said. “I’m glad we are able to support the fine work Mandi McNutt and her group of volunteers at School’s Out, Food’s In do.”

School’s Out, Food’s In is a summer food assistance program for children in the Dripping Springs school district. It currently feeds 163 children who do not have regular access to consistent meals during summer when school cafeterias are closed. Each week the organization’s volunteers deliver bags of healthy breakfast and lunch foods.

For more information on how to support School’s Out, Food’s In, call Coordinator Mandi McNutt at (512) 865-6939, or email [email protected] .
