Pickleball series begins at Dreamland

Professional pickleball nights have come to Dripping Springs as part of the new Pickleball Night in America series at the Dreamland Stadium Court.

The first competition in the series began at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. The event was powered by Major League Pickleball and Dreamland Universal Player Rating, a ratings system, technology platform and community with the mission to grow the sport of pickleball. Eight top male pros had their names thrown into a hat to decide their partners and opponents, re drawing for partners after the first round.

Dekel Bar and Thomas Wilson won, splitting over $8,000 in prizes.
