Patriot Erectors holds Steel Day

Dripping Springs Patriot Erectors held its Annual Steel Day on its fabrication grounds.

The day involved family, food, and fun for its employees, as well as welding and steel related competitions for employees. The event also marked the retirement of one of its founders Rex Webb, who has been with the company since 1991.

The facility is usually overlooked as people drive by it on Highway 290, but it employs over 270 people and is one of only 2 steel shops in Texas that’s certified as both a fabricator and erector with AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction).

The big winner of the day was Chris Revale who won Torch Contest.
