Orthodontist expands with second location

The Cunningham Orthodontics practice is now located on both sides of Dripping Springs.

According to staff, the additional location was built so it would be even more convenient for the Cunningham family of patients. The newest office is at 13341 W. US 290, Building 4A, in Austin. The original office is still located at 131 Benney Lane, Ste. A. Appointments can be scheduled at either location using the same phone number: (512) 858-1311.

Dr. Daniel Voorhees joined the practice in the summer of 2023. Voorhees graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science. He went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry. His residency was in the UCLA Orofacial Pain & Dysfunction program. Voorhees entered a second residency at University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He graduated with a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. His residency in orthodontics gave him the skills and experience to treat more complex cases with traditional braces or Invisalign.

Voorhees was born and raised in Austin. His father, Dr. Fred Voorhees, and Dr. Carly Cunningham’s father-in-law practiced together at Austin Oral Surgery. Voorhees also worked at Austin Oral Surgery under the guidance of Dr. Russell Cunningham. His mother and Cunningham's mother served many years together with the Alliance of the Texas Dental Association. Adding Voorhees to the practice made perfect sense for the Cunningham Orthodontics family. The family connections, on top of the like mindedness for treating patients, is the perfect combination.
