League of Women Voters of Hays County to host candidate forums

In April the League of Women Voters of Hays County will hold two virtual candidate forums for Dripping Springs elections. These events can be viewed in a live webinar with the candidates or

from recordings on the Hays County League website. The forum schedule can also be accessed on the lwvhaysco.com site and the Hays League of Women Voters’ Facebook page.

During the Dripping Springs City Council and the DSISD Board of Trustees forums, candidates will be asked questions prepared by the League of Women Voters with input gathered in advance from the com munity. The community may submit questions or topical issues up to one week in advance of the event to [email protected]. Please indicate the name of the event and the word “questions” in the subject line and ensure that the questions can be posed to ALL candidates in that particular race.

All forums will begin at 7:00 CST on the following dates:

Dripping Springs City Council Candidates Forum, April 8. Question deadline, April 1. Use the link zoom.us/j/97721882019 to attend the live event.

Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees Candidates Forum, April 14. Question Deadline, April 7. Use the link https://zoom.us/j/91658004389 to attend the live event.

Candidate information will be available on VOTE411.org from April 5, 2021.
