Dripping Springs-Methodist Church to hold garage sale

Spring cleaning can yield so many items that it begs the question of where to put it all. The Dripping Springs Methodist Church has an answer to that question.

The DSMC will host a Community Garage Sale from June 9–10. The annual event serves the needs of the local community, which means all the proceeds are donated to local charitable organizations. Drop-off donations will be accepted June 5–8 from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m.

Items accepted include gently used clothing, shoes, handbags, linens, jewelry, kitchen items, furniture, toys, bikes and holiday decorations. Old bedding, throws and towels are acceptable to be used for pet bedding. No electronics, books for ages over 10, mattresses or major appliances will be accepted.

The sale begins Friday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will continue Saturday, June 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Shoppers are encouraged to shop early as items sell quickly. It will be held at the The Foundry building adjacent to the DSMC’s main building, located at 28900 Ranch Road 12 in Dripping Springs.
