Dripping Springs burglary suspects arrested

Two suspects are in custody after the Hays County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported burglary in Dripping Springs. It happened Sunday, September 6 at 2 p.m. on the 200 block of Old Fitzhugh Road. During the on-scene investigation, the victim provided security camera video of the suspects.

While at the scene, deputies were alerted to a possible carjacking in the area as well. It was quickly determined that the two crimes were related.

Hays County Sheriff’s Deputies, Precinct 4 Constables, and Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers established a perimeter and began searching for the suspects. Hays County Sheriff’s deputies located the first suspect, who was involved in the armed carjacking, on Wallace Street in Dripping Springs. She is identified as 37-year-old Kotie Anderson. Deputies located the second suspect in the 1300 block of US 290 W He is identified as 31-year-old Joshua Dickens. A third suspect was detained and released pending further investigation. No one was injured during this incident.

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the citizens who called in with tips which helped with the search and apprehension of the suspects.
