Dripping Springs Art League celebrates ribbon cutting

The Dripping Springs Art League celebrated their ribbon cutting ceremony and reception at the Chamber of Commerce on March 6 with over 40 attendees including artists, Chamber members and the community at-large.

The DSAL was formed as a nonprofit in 2023 to serve as the art hub for Dripping Springs. As their mission attests, they focus on art, community and connection. The DSAL offers several programs each month including hands-on workshops, plein air outdoor painting, business of art classes and art socials.

DSAL is also connecting with local businesses and public organizations to help develop Dripping Springs as a vibrant art destination. The DSAL is thrilled to place local artwork in public spaces with their first install at the Chamber of Commerce and Ally Medical Emergency Room. DSAL also partners with local businesses to host events including our first Pop-Up Market at Jester King Brewery in February and Plein Air painting on Mercer Street in March.

The Dripping Springs Art League welcomes artists of all kinds – aspiring and experienced – as well as supporting a broad range of media including painting, photography, fiber arts, sculpture, ceramics, and more.

Visit artindripping. com for information on upcoming events and how you can get involved. Annual membership starts at $35.
