Dreamland to host Full Moon Festival

This Saturday’s full moon will be celebrated with a festival at Dreamland Dripping Springs. The entertainment complex is set to host live music, sports, activities, on-site camping and more during their inaugural festival on July 24.

The night’s musical delights include Golden Dawn Arkestra, funky cosmic explorers who have been described as an Austin psychedelic afrobeat collective and part P-Funk, world beat, jam band, and psych rock. Also on deck to perform is Alex Maas, a member of beloved Austin psych rock band The Black Angels who just released his solo album “Luca” at the end of 2020. Darkbird – the brainchild of Kelly Barnes (vocals) and Brian Cole (guitars) drawing comparisons to the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, among others – and Viben & The Submersibles – bringing the scuba funk – will add to the musical ebb and flow of the evening. And a latenight DJ will take it into the wee hours.

Attendees will also have access to Dreamland’s world-class miniature golf courses and lighted, weather-protected pickleball courts for some of the evening. In addition, food will be available onsite, and the beer garden and tap room will be open until late offering a variety of beer and wine from all over the region.

General admission tickets are available now for $40 at dreamlanddstx.com/ events/fullmoonfest. Ticket holders are also invited to bring their tents and camp overnight at the venue.

Dreamland is located at 2770 W Hwy 290, Dripping Springs, TX 78620. More information can be found at dreamlanddstx.com.
