June 4

Public Hearing

The City on June 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. will hear public comment and consider two applications for the 2021 Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside Program to be filed with TxDOT, for pedestrian improvements on Mercer St. and Us Hwy 290 from RR-12 to Rob Shelton Blvd and pedestrian improvements on RR-12 and Event Center Drive from the Founders Ridge subdivision to the DSISD elementary school and Dripping Springs Ranch Park.

DreamFest

This live music event and arts festival at Dreamland was originally scheduled for May 1 but was postponed due to weather. The family-friendly event will feature musical performances from across a range of genres, along with the Redbud Artisan Market & Art Festival with a curated selection from over 35 artists, and 'Kids Day' with various activities for children.

Dog Days of Summer PAWS Shelter of Central Texas hosts this event on Mercer St. from 11 a.m. to 4p.m. The event includes: live music from Bruised Sinatra, food from The Hot Dog King, giveaways, silent auction, raffles, adoptable pets and more! Sponsored by Tito's Handmade Vodka, HEB, and Firehouse Health Center.

D-Day Fundraiser

At 12 Fox from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the Spanton Team is raising money to support two veteran non-profits, Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing and Patriot’s Hall. Over $9,000 in raffle prizes are on the line!

Heroes Picnic

Put on by the Knights of Columbus Council 11695, this event will take place at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church Hall. The picnic will have food, raffles, games, local vendors, music, sponsors and much more. For more info, visit www.dskofc.org.
