2019 Texas Master Naturalist Program Registration
Registration for the Hays County Master Naturalist Class for 2019 is now open and will continue until Jan. 7. Applications can be downloaded from the Hays County Master Naturalist website: haysmn.org beginning Nov. 26. “As a Master Naturalist, you can join a corps of volunteers dedicated to learning about the beneficial management of our natural resources and natural areas. Students and graduates of this program volunteer for more than 50 projects around Hays County.”

Coffee with Cars
Dripping Greater Goods Roasting Company will hold its monthly Coffee with Cars on Sunday Dec. 30 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., at 160 McGregor Lane. “FREE to the public and anyone with a hot rod, muscle car, sports car, exotic, classic truck or unique ride is welcomed to come out and put your car on display! This will be a first-come, first serve basis for parking but we should have plenty.”

Kerrville Symphony 50s POPS Concert
The Kerrville Symphony will perform a “Fabulous 50s POP Concert” on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 7:30 p.m., at the Cailloux Theatre, 910 Main, Kerrville, Tx. “This popular concert will feature the 75-piece orchestra performing those ‘feel good’ love songs, rhythm and blues, country, and rock and roll, iconic musicals, movie scores, and TV themes from the 1950s. ”The event will be preceded by a wine reception in the lobby at 6:30 p.m. To purchase tickers, or for more information, visit symphonyofthehills.org.

Wimberley Garden Club
The Wimberley Garden Club will hold its first meeting of 2019 on Wednesday Jan. 9, at 9:30 a.m., at the Lutheran Church of Resurrection, 101 W. Spoke Hill Drive, Wimberley. The topic will be “Saving People from Bees, and Bees from People.” The club meets the second Wednesday of the month, from Sept. to May. Guests and prospective members are always welcomed.
