ACCESS holds its first completion ceremony
EDUCATION ALTERNATIVE
Adele Freeman and Parry Greco were recognized by the Dripping Springs ISD (DSISD) Adult Coordinated Continuing Education Services and Supports (ACCESS) Program, in what was the program’s first-ever” Completion Ceremony” on June 5.
ACCESS serves students between the ages of 18 through 21, who “received special services and have identified needs within the scope of the program.” The transitional program focuses on four areas: social/recreational/leisure, adult living, lifelong learning, and employment.
The event was held at Dripping Springs Presbyterian Church (DSPC), and included remarks by ACCESS coordinators Randy West and Elizabeth Danner of the Region 13 Education Service Center.
DSPC partners with ACCESS to provide opportunities for students to practice job skills. Businesses interested in learning more about ACCESS student placement are asked to contact West through the DSISD offices.
