YMCA Cancer Survivor Program Gearing Up for Spring Session

The Springs Family YMCA is accepting registrations for the Spring session of their LIVESTRONG Cancer Survivor Program, which will run from Jan. 13 to Apr. 1, meeting on Monday and Thursdays from 1:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.

The program is a free, twelve- week physical activity and wellness program for people who have completed cancer treatment and their families or caregivers. Participants receive free access to the Y for the duration of the program.  Classes are small group sessions, and focus on individualized strength training, and balance and flexibility. Group classes such as Tai Chi and water aerobics are also part of the program.
