Monkey business in Dripping Springs

Dripping Springs neighbor Carrie Napiorkowski was sitting in her living room enjoying a cup of tea, when she heard something. It was about 8 a.m. the morning of August 11. “I heard my door handle jiggle in my living room, and I looked out the window and I didn't see anything,” she said. “And I was like, huh…I just didn't think anything more of it, and then it jiggled, and it jiggled and my dog started barking.” She looked through the speakeasy window on her front door. No one was there. “But as I'm looking out, I see the door handle jiggle again. So that literally kind of creeped me out,” she said. She then stood behind the door and opened it about two inches to see what was going on. “My first thought was that maybe it was a raccoon or something, and literally in ran a monkey, and it went straight up the stairs. I was stunned at first, like I couldn't believe it,” she continued.
