Their daughter Hannah and our granddaughter Emma had both started dance lessons at age 3 and had moved through the ranks. Now they are both 13 years old.

Liz was a very involved mom...the type who would sit in front of Walmart in below-freezing temperatures with her Girl Scout troop, so the girls could all make their goals, selling cookies.

I’m excited today, I awoke to find a gentle spring rain falling outside my window, something I really appreciate. Yet, I know not everyone agrees with me, because the first email I read today started off complaining about how the dreary weather outside matched the dreary mood of the United States during this unprecedented pandemic of 2020.

Running with Moe April 23

When talking to neighbors, or friends over the phone, the most common question I have been hearing is, “How are you doing these days?”  I tell them that I am doing very well. Part of my adapting to life under quarantine comes from being a runner, and two words that make it easy--  “creativity” and “patience.”
