Warming up for cooler temperatures with a coat and blanket drive

Share the warmth in your heart with others this winter with a donation to the Dripping Springs Elite Real Estate Professionals’ Coat & Blanket Drive. Coats and blankets are a small way to help when the temperatures drop.

“We’re collecting new and gently-used coats of all sizes along with blankets throughout the month of November to donate to local shelters and animal rescues,” said Edith Austin, chair of the Charitable Giving Committee for Dripping Springs Elite.

If you would like to participate, contact one of the 25 DS Elite Members—a complete list is available on the website at drippingspringselite.com/#agents.

You may also drop off your donation at Morningstar Storage located at 10220 E Hwy 290, just east of Nutty Brown Road. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9a-6p, Saturday 9a-5p and Sunday 10a-2p.

Coats and blankets will be accepted through Nov. 30. With questions, email us at

[email protected]. If you know of a shelter or organization needing coats and blankets, please let us know and we will add to our list of recipients.
